![]() ![]() Apple is only good for Film editing really and Adobe “light” graphics work. Which is sad considering I normally love Apple’s interfacing and connectivity. I’m going to have to go on YouTube to let people know NOT to buy M1 products for 3D work until Apple comes out with a computer that can actually handle it. whereas in the tutorial Im watching on YouTube, the guy seems to be able to rotate and scale objects seamlessly. In regards to Activity Monitor, Blender is the only app I have up MOST of the time and I STILL get Memory is about to run out. Ive just bought a Mac Mini M1 (8GB RAM), Im running the Apple Silicon build 2.93.5 of Blender and it seems to be lagging a LOT Whenever I rotate or scale an object, theres a good few seconds of lag. ![]() I don’t know who was doing all the raving in YouTube channels but this computer was the worst Apple product I ever brought. ![]() On my old iMac I didnt have such problems, but with this CPU/GPU mixed with the Silicon chip, there is just no room for actual 3D work on a good scale without lag and eventually shutoff. I’ve been having problems with load times with my Mac M1 Mini since I brought it and no Apple customer service person can figure it out…. My mac M1 Mini also runs really slow in Blender, and I have the 16GB with 1TB of storage.
